Tryon Palace, North Carolina's first Capital is a destination in and of itself. Immerse yourself in NC's history. There are changing exhibits and interactive programming. Downtown Apex is a picturesque but modern "main street USA" with shops, restaurants, antiques, and more. They carry my Little Monsters and, in the fall, my tea light pumpkins. Great variety of wares from local and regional artists and fine crafters.
